Reconciliation Action Plan 

TAFE Queensland's Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) demonstrates commitment to closing the gap to ensure our First Australians are afforded the same opportunities for learning and prosperity that everyone enjoys in Australia.

In 2018, TAFE Queensland developed its first RAP which contained many of the building blocks required to achieve our vision for reconciliation.

During the past two years, we have:

• engaged an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory group;
• continued development of a cultural learning strategy;
• launched a cultural protocol guide;
• created an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment and retention strategy;
• implemented a procurement strategy; and
• developed an education strategy.

We are currently developing a new RAP that will guide us through 2021-2023.
