Get the Australian outback experience with this advanced-level, triple qualification that will see you working on farms or stations, or as an agribusiness manager. The agribusiness sector is highly diverse consisting of operators across agricultural services and production at all levels of the supply chain.
In this course you will learn how to identify plants and operate machinery, manage both livestock and crop production, market your products and services, and prepare and monitor budgets. We will also teach you how to develop farm and business plans, create climate risk management strategies, and produce sustainable land strategies.
Upon successful completion of this triple qualification you will have the skills and knowledge needed to become a farm, property or station manager. You will also have a solid foundation to complete further study and advance your career in this field.

The Learning Skills Centre — located in most of our campus libraries — is a drop-in service staffed by experienced teachers who can help with study skills. As an international student you’ll study face-to-face in a classroom with other international and Australian students at one of our campus locations.

The following Selection criteria requirements apply only to International Students:
Students should be a minimum of 18 years of age. Student visa applicants under the age of 18 will be accepted where they demonstrate that they will be accompanied by a parent, legal custodian or a suitable relative who is aged 21 or over. It is recommended that you have access to a reliable Internet connection to access TAFE Queensland's online learning system Connect, and a computer with up-to-date software, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Flash Player. This equipment and software is available for use at all TAFE Queensland locations.
You will also be required to have access to and bring to class a light long sleeved shirt, steel capped boots, safety glasses, ear muffs or plugs, a sun safe hat, sunscreen, water bottle, secateurs, rubber dishwashing gloves, and gardening gloves. You may also be required to have access to an 8m retractable tape measure and calculator for select units.
Skill and knowledge assessments are an essential step in progressing through your course. You may be assessed in a number of ways while you are studying at TAFE Queensland, including observation, written assessment, questioning, portfolios, work samples, third-party feedback, and through recognition of prior learning.
