Gain an overview of the meat processing industry, learn how to maintain personal equipment, follow safe work policies and procedures, and develop valuable sanitation skills.

The Australian meat processing industry is expected to grow over the next five years thanks to a boost from free trade agreements with China, Japan and South Korea. More qualified candidates will be required, especially in Queensland where 32 per cent of the nation's meat processing facilities are located.

Whether you want to have a front line role as a retail butcher, abattoir worker, slaughter room operator, or boning room processor, or want to oversee others as an animal welfare officer, meat inspector, production manager, or quality assurance officer, we have a course that's right for you.
