Our flexible study options give you the best of both worlds. Combining face-to-face, on-campus study with 120 hours of on-the-job experience. You'll get unique industry insights working with sporting clubs, coaches, and game development teams.
This specialised rugby-league training will prepare you for the inter-state challenge. TAFE Queensland has partnered with Queensland Rugby League (QRL) to deliver this unique program.

Graduates of the TAFE Queensland Sports Academy will receive a Diploma of Sport (SIS50319) qualification. You'll also graduate with several industry certifications specific to your chosen sport. We'll work with you to develop a customised study plan to suit your sporting and study goals.
Possible industry-relevant specialisations include coaching, officiating, project management, or event management. Focus on business skills such as budgeting, sponsorship and marketing, or managing risk and compliance. Or develop management skills in leading teams, customer service, and managing stakeholder relationships.
