Learning support

Learning support is available for all students. You can access help with:

  • assignments, essay writing and referencing
  • study skills and exam preparation
  • English and maths
  • time management and organisation skill

Class support, workshops and tutorials may also be provided at different locations.

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or not sure where to start? It's ok, we all get stuck sometimes.

Whether you're struggling with writing, maths, or referencing, you can get immediate, one-on-one help from a subject specialist via Studiosity after hours.

Need some extra face-to-face help? The Learning Skills Centre is available for certificate, diploma and higher education students at select TAFE Queensland libraries in Greater Brisbane.

At The Learning Skills Centre, there’s always someone ready to help you. Teachers can provide face-to-face help across a broad range of topics, from reading and spelling to maths, and research to referencing. We can also work with you to create an individual learning plan to provide targeted support.

The Learning Skills Centre works on a drop-in basis; no appointment needed. You can visit any centre, no matter what campus you are enrolled at or what mode of study you have selected, such as online.

We also offer support over-the-phone, via email and using Zoom. Please see our timetable below for details.
