International Orientation

Brisbane orientation is for students studying at the following campuses:

• Mt Gravatt
• Loganlea
• Grovely

If you are currently waiting for your results to meet entry requirement for your course commencing Semester 1, 2021 (January 2021 start) and if you require deferring your course to later semester e.g. Semester 2, 2021 (July 2021 start) please ensure you communicate with TAFE Queensland International (TQI) Administration team – Phone: 3244 5100 (option 3), Email: Admin.TQI@tafe.qld.edu.au / In Person: Counter 6, Student Services Centre, C-block, Level 1

Course Orientation

As well as this International Orientation Information Session, you also have a course specific orientation session to attend. These sessions are a great opportunity to get to know your teachers, find out what you need to bring to class, timetables, textbook and facilities such as library services.

Commencement of studies

TAFE Queensland is required by law to confirm to the Department of Education that all international students have arrived in Australia and started their program. During the week commencing 25 January 2021, staff from TAFE Queensland will be reviewing your class attendance to confirm you have started your program. If you do not start your program of study, TAFE Queensland must cancel your eCOE. The cancellation of your eCOE for non-commencement may impact your student visa.
